What ceramic coating really involves
A ceramic coating is a liquid that cures into a thin, hard layer bonded to your clear coat. It is much more durable than wax or sealant, resists UV, bird droppings and love bug acids better, and makes dirt release with a simple rinse.
Coatings are only as good as the paint underneath, so every package includes a full decontamination and at least a one-stage polish. We apply in a controlled space, either your garage or our covered Washington Ave bay, and cure with infrared lamps before handing the keys back.

How we do it, step by step

Decontaminate
Wash, iron removal, tar removal and clay so nothing is trapped under the coating.
Polish
Machine polish to remove swirls and create a flat, glossy base.
Coat
Panel by panel application, leveled and inspected under lights.
Cure and check
Infrared curing, then a free check-up wash after 30 days.

It adds light scratch resistance, but it will not stop rock chips. For chips on the highway, pair a coating with paint protection film on the front end.
Wait 7 days before the first wash and avoid automatic tunnel washes for good. We include a free check-up wash at 30 days.
Yes, a gentle wash every 2 to 4 weeks and an annual topper keep the warranty valid. Our maintenance plans include both.
